Three people wounded in shooting at South L.A. fast-food restaurant

April 30, 2010 |  9:45 am

Three people were wounded Thursday evening at a Kentucky Fried Chicken eatery in South Los Angeles when a dispute escalated into gunfire, police said.

The shooting near Manchester Avenue and 85th Street occurred around 9:30 p.m., said LAPD Deputy Chief Pat Gannon.

Two of the victims were taken to the hospital while a third person was treated by paramedics at the scene. At least one of the victims was a woman.

The shooting is believed to have stemmed from a dispute, Gannon said. The fast-food outlet was the site of a prior shooting, he said.
