Pair seen on tape dumping girl with gunshot wound at a Van Nuys hospital; suspects arrested [Updated]
The Los Angeles Police Department has arrested two San Fernando Valley residents for allegedly dumping a 17-year-old girl with a gunshot wound at a local hospital, where she later died.
The incident occurred April 5 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Van Nuys. A hospital video tape shows two people leaving the wounded 17-year-old girl in front of the emergency room, wheeling her in on a wheelchair.
The LAPD on Thursday announced the arrests of Alejandro Aguirre, 26, and Michael Gonzalez, 25. Both men were being held on $2 million bail, according to the LAPD.
Details about the crime itself remain unclear, including who shot the girl and what the relationship was between her and the suspects.
It took a few days, but police finally identified the girl as Darlene Robles.
