LA Metro: Promoting Mass Transit from EMBARQ Network on Vimeo.

Curbed LA has posted a video about Metro's latest marketing effort:

Sustainable transportation org EMBARQ thinks short videos can be a tool for change in urban planning and transportation, and they're working on a series about local stories, like this one about the rebranding of Metro and the success of its in-house Creative Services department.

Bunker Hill magazine: Fishbowl LA reports that the downtown destination Bunker Hill is getting a magazine:

The inaugural issue features a cover story on "pastor-cum-national-breakthrough-advertising-guru-of-the-year" Erwin McManus, as well as a profile of Central City Association president Carol Schatz.

Stories from the Grand Prix: The Long Beach Press-Telegram has several vignettes from the Grand Prix:

The air was tense in the pit lane as crews scurried to complete last-minute touches just before the 36th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Sunday. Excited race-goers crowded around the cars, watching and snapping pictures as the drivers were strapped in. Minutes later, they were off.
