Four people were shot -- two of them critically -- in an incident late this afternoon in an unincorporated area between Los Angeles and Inglewood, county fire officials said.
The shooting was reported shortly before 5 p.m. in the area of 105th Street and Budlong Avenue, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department spokeswoman.
Officials could not immediately provide details, other than to say gunshots were fired in a two-block radius.
Four victims were taken to local hospitals, two of them in critical condition and two others with minor to moderate wounds, the spokeswoman said.
