Truck driver pleads not guilty in La Canada big rig crash

The driver of a runaway big rig that crashed into several cars, killing a man and his 12-year-old daughter in La Cañada Flintridge, pleaded not guilty today to vehicular manslaughter. Marcos Costa, 43, will return to court in Pasadena on May 13, when a date will be set for a preliminary hearing on the two felony counts. He has been released on $200,000 bail, according to a court clerk.
