Suleman octuplets still stable

February 1, 2009 | 11:04 pm

Octuplets born last week to a Whittier woman who already had six children “continue to be stable,” Kaiser Permanente officials said today.

The eight children born Jan. 26 to Nadya Suleman, 33, are in the hospital, breathing unassisted and are being fed donated breast milk, said Kaiser Permanente spokesman Jim Anderson.

The children also are receiving an intravenous nutritional supplement and will likely remain in the hospital for several more weeks, Anderson said.
