February 6, 2009 |  9:22 am

A person cleans up inside the Coffee House in San Gabriel, where a shooting late Thursday killed one person and wounded several others. Detectives are looking today for two masked gunmen who burst into a San Gabriel coffee shop and started firing their weapons, fatally shooting one person and wounding six others.

Officers responding to reports of a fight at the Coffee House in the 700 block of East Valley Boulevard at about 11:15 p.m. Thursday arrived to find seven people shot, said Deputy Aura Sierra of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and the others were taken to hospitals, Sierra said.

Investigators say the shooting may be gang-related and that the gunmen targeted a group of people sitting at a table. The gunmen were last seen running away from the scene, she said.

Anyone with information is asked to call homicide detectives at (323) 890-5500 or the San Gabriel Police Department at (626) 308-2828. Callers may remain anonymous.
