February 3, 2009 |  7:56 am

A woman found shot to death in a Lincoln Heights alley was identified today as Breanne A. Hanna, 25, the L.A. County coroner's office said.

Hanna was found dead in her car Monday night near the intersection of Humboldt Street and West Avenue 31,  said Assistant Chief Ed Winter of the coroner's office.  He didn't know her city of residence.

Police went to the scene at about 7:15 p.m. after residents reported hearing gunshots, said Officer Karen Smith of the Los Angeles Police Department.  Hanna had been shot several times, Smith said. A witness told police she saw a man standing next to Hanna's car shortly before hearing gunfire, said LAPD Officer Sam Park. A motive for the shooting has not been determined.
