Today’s food section features cookbooks that are great for the gifting. That’s not just because the food writers are thinking about cookbooks -- some say that as many as 75% of cookbooks published each year come out in the months before the winter holidays.
The cuisines are all over the map, literally, from Norway to India to Mexico. And they’re not just regional: One book is devoted to meat, another to pie. The list of 13 great cookbooks to give as gifts is:
