Free science fiction for the iPad from Tor.com

The website of science fiction imprint Tor is making some of its most-lauded works of 2009 available as free e-books. Four stories, all awards finalists, can be downloaded free now.
There are two stories by Rachel Swirsky, “A Memory of Wind,” a Nebula Award finalist, and “Eros, Philia, Agape,” a Hugo and Locus Award finalist. “First Flight” by Mary Robinette Kowal was a finalist for the Locus Award, and “Overtime” by Charles Stross was a Hugo Award finalist.
All four are currently in the iBookstore, meaning they’re available for the iPad (next week, when the program becomes available for iPhones, they’ll be available for that, too). They can also be downloaded for free in Amazon’s Kindle store and the Sony Reader bookstore, and the publisher promises other venues, too.
The stories were all published on Tor.com, and they can be read there for free anytime. But now they’re also available to go. Tor’s free e-reader downloads will be available through the summer.
