Lake Los Angeles: Timothy Wong, 23

Timothy Wong, a 23-year-old Asian man, was stabbed to death Saturday, Dec. 19, in the 38900 block of 162nd Street East in Lake Los Angeles, authorities said.

Wong was stabbed about 10:04 p.m. and was pronounced dead by paramedics at 10:58 p.m. while en route to a hospital, according to the news release.

Authorities have arrested Jose Abundio, an 18-year-old Latino, in connection with the stabbing. He was arrested at 2:07 a.m. Dec. 20 at a nearby residence, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department news release.
