Pico Rivera: body found in riverbed

A white man was found dead in the San Gabriel riverbed at Whittier Boulevard in Pico Rivera about 12:55 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Correction: The body was discovered Monday, not Sunday, Aug. 31.
