Larry Craig, a 23-year-old young black man, was fatally shot about 9 p.m. Friday March 21, in the 600 block of West 104th Street in South-Central Los Angeles. According to police, Craig had just left someone’s home and was approaching Denver Avenue when two black men wearing black hooded sweatshirts walked up to him. One of the men pulled out a hangun and fired several times at Craig. The men were last seen running south on Denver Avenue, police said. Craig was taken to Harbor UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:36 p.m..
