UCLA information officer Meg Sullivan contacted the Home section to suggest an article about the garden of retired plant physiologist Park Nobel, but it turned out that the story about one of the most distinctive private cactus gardens in Los Angeles had already been covered by Sullivan for the new issue of UCLA Magazine. You can read Sullivan’s article, ‘Natural Habitat,’ see a video interview with Nobel and peruse Times photographer Anne Cusack’s photo gallery of Nobel’s garden.
