Designing a modular wall unit to fit your specific needs just got a little easier now that Italian manufacturer Lazzari began offering custom designs to the U.S. market this month at ColorfulStyles.com.

Lazzari’s modular units can be configured using an online design tool. Choose from nine colors and two wood finishes. Glass doors, soft doors and nylon drawers come in different colors too.

The Cube ($85.99), the square module that is the building block of the wall units shown above, can be used in combination with the Half Cube ($76.99) or stacked on lockable caster wheels ($14.99) or small feet ($14.99).

Storage bins that fit into the cubes also can stand alone. The larger Drawer B bins, regularly $46 each, have been marked down to $40.99. The smaller Drawer A bins for Half Cubs are $36.99. The Lazarri man-shaped pouf pillow, pictured above in orange, is regularly $298 but is on sale for $218.99.

ColorfulStyles.com also will sell an extensive line of compact solid beech furnishings by Foppapedretti. Modern, space-saving accessories include the Siesta TV tray ($234.99), at right; a kitchen trolley ($284.99); a clothes rack/valet ($274.99); and my personal favorite, the portable ergonomic ironing stool ($233.99).

Free shipping on all orders over $150 through Dec. 31. (888) 630-3334.
