One of the first rules of decorating (and narcissism): You can never have enough mirrors.

Designers and small-space-dwellers love tables clad with reflective surfaces because they seem to take up less space than those made of wood and other materials and they also make rooms look larger. With the revival of glamorous midcentury Hollywood Regency design, mirrored tables have made a strong comeback, and the minimalist designs from West Elm, above, also reflect well on 1970s-inspired interiors.

If you haven’t yet succumbed to the trend, now you can at 50% savings. The Mirror Block coffee table is a 2-by-4-foot rectangle that sits on two hefty beam pedestals to a height of 9 inches. It may be a bit low to be paired with some sofas -- if you love looking at shoes, it’s going to be awesome -- but it can also be used as a display table for tall objects. Regularly priced at $399, it’s now $199.99 online.

The T-shaped Mirror Block side table is a standard 18-inch height and measures 20 by 17.5 inches. It’s marked down from $299 to $199.99. Both are made from tempered mirror glass with beveled edges. For maximum impact, put them on a patterned rug or by a window to bring the outdoors inside.
