The Deal: Tulip lamps half price at Anthropologie

April 7, 2010 |  6:00 am

These colorful felt tulip pendant lamps on sale at Anthropologie would be a wonderful addition to a kid's bedroom or playroom. The shades, constructed from durable wool felt from FilzFelt, look like they can take a beating. (It's amazing the things that get airborne when kids are around.)

The lamps, created by San Francisco-based design firm Shine Labs, measure 10 inches high by 11.5 inches in diameter. The shade's die-cut wool panels are assembled with external seams and supported by a nickel-plated wire frame.

The tulip lamps are available in red, green and yellow and come with six feet of cuttable cord so you can hang it high or low. (Higher is always better in a kid's room, I say.)

Normally $198, the pendant is now on sale at Anthropologie for $99.95 (shipping is $10.95).
