The Deal: Barreveld dish sets, candle holders and more reduced to less than $25

Barreveld, a home decor firm known for stylish contemporary pieces at reasonable prices, just got a little bit more irresistible. Thanks to the discount design website Gilt, a selection of romantic, modern and nature-inspired tabletop accessories from Barreveld are nearly half-off. Some items, such as serving dishes, candle holders and salt and pepper shakers, are a mere eight bucks. The 3-inch tea light votive glass with the black vine pattern -- shown above right and a little out of scale (OK, a lot out of scale), is reduced from $17 to $9 for a set of four.

A set of three nesting glass dishes -- one 8 inches in diameter and solid blue, along with coordinating 10-inch and 6-inch versions with a two-tone floral decal, above left -- is reduced from $26 to $15.

The sale also includes Scandinavian-style serving pieces such as the 10-inch-diameter ceramic dish, right, which has a wooden insert that can be used for hors d’oeuvres or cheese. Originally $43, it is now $22.

You must become a member of Gilt to shop its sales, which don’t last long. This one ends at 9 p.m. Friday or until supplies run out.
