Marcelle Danan, designer and co-owner of Atmostphere, has an eye for dramatic sculptural pieces and decorative accessories that tip their hat to Mother Nature. One example: The blackened brass tree, above left, which is blooming with 24-karat gold leafed florets. After being plucked from the store’s collection of hand-wrought pieces to appear in an upcoming Steve Carrell comedy, it is now back in the shop and has been reduced 40% in a storewide sale that runs through Feb. 15.

OK, so that means it’s $12,000 instead of $20,000, but there are plenty of uncommon items that don’t require movie star salaries.

The non-tarnish nickel-plated hammered copper jars, vases, trays and tea set are now $240 to $760. A wide range of petrified wood slabs are marked down 20%. (See more sale items after the jump)
