The Deal: Steep reductions on Viesso floor samples

At Viesso in Santa Monica, customers can choose the type of green material that they want on their custom furniture. Reclaimed Douglas fir? Natural latex cushions? Hemp upholstery? This place has got it. And anyone who has waited months for a custom piece to arrive will find the unusually quick turnaround refreshing: three weeks maximum.
An even quicker solution? These steeply reduced floor samples. Viesso has a selection of already built items (which cannot be customized) such as the Ason sofa, above left, on sale now. The sofa normally retails for $1,409 but is now available for $699. The sofa measures 72 inches by 29 inches and is covered in a natural, undyed hemp fabric. Also on sale: the Mento bench, reduced from $823 to $250, and the bamboo dining table, above right, which has been reduced from $2,000 to $999. The bamboo table has been finished with water-based stain and clear coat.
