Pottery sale at Clayhouse Studio this weekend

Add this weekend’s pottery sale at Santa Monica’s Clayhouse Studio to the list of seasonal craft fairs highlighting locally handmade gifts.

Established in 1971, Clayhouse provides potters with studio space, throwing wheels, glazes and high-fire kilns, as well as offering lessons. The sale, which starts with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, will feature finely crafted bowls, vases, planters, jars, ceramic jewelry and sculpture by more than 25 members including J. Clay Pottery, whose bowls are pictured above at left and Bethany Biddle, whose vase is above right. Preview other items here.
