Blik’s new line of self-adhesive decals designed by L.A. artist Joe Ledbetter is good for the bedroom of a child who has moved beyond teddy bears -- but is not quite ready to turn off the hall light.
The delightful Amalgamation collection, released today, is inspired by classic animation and everyday life, the artist says. Creatures appear to burst from the wall. Friendly big-eyed bunnies and blue puppies can be pulled off and moved if, say, someone wants them closer to the bed. The installation rating from Blik: “easy peasy.”
The decals are sold in sets of five. Two sets are available, each $40 from whatisblik.com.
