With its scattered clusters of one-of-a-kind objects, the tiny Zelen Home store is a delightful escape from reality. “I try to find and carry new items that are not sold in any other store in L.A. or anywhere close,” said the owner, designer Dan Zelen. Zelen Home’s summer sale features 20% discounts on vintage tabletop, glassware and barware; designer Sarah Cihat’s ‘rehabilitated dishware,’secondhand and discount plates that she has reglazed with new motifs; and vintage jewelry.
