This English walnut table with a white laminate top is like an open invitation to sit down and stay for awhile. For a parent, it’s easy to imagine not only eating at the streamlined table, but also writing and drawing on its sleek top -- no small thing when your child’s pen is dipping into the seams of your grandmother’s antique table eaves. The table is the latest addition to Mash Studios designer Bernard Brucha’s LAX series of furniture. Normally $1,895, the piece is on sale at Design Public for $1,418.
