Looks as if Ellen DeGeneres was feeling a bit left out of the ‘Titanic’ 3-D release over the weekend — because on Monday she inserted herself smack in the middle of the famous nude scene featuring Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio and that big blue diamond.

If this video, above, reflects how it really went down, we have much more sympthy for Winslet, who declared at the 3-D premiere that she’d didn’t want to look at her naked young self and would, in fact, be in the bar by the time the nude scene rolled around.

As for who else went to see the nude scene and more: If you ignored its Wednesday opening, which gave it a two-day jump on the competition, ‘Titanic’ finished third at the weekend box office behind ‘The Hunger Games’ and ‘American Reunion.’ Counting those two extra days, the story of the world’s most famous shipwreck still came in behind the dystopian fight to the death starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.

So much for romance -- but at least Ellen stayed out of the car scene, right?
