Hugh Hefner’s son Marston has been sentenced after pleading no contest in a domestic violence incident with 2011 Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair.

The second son of the Playboy founder was arrested last month in Pasadena, as L.A. Now reported. Police said Sinclair, 20, had ‘suffered minor injuries consistent with an assault.’ She sought a temporary restraining order against 21-year-old Marston Hefner.

She said he hit her and damaged her laptop, too. Hefner faced one count of battery on a spouse or cohabitant and one count of vandalizing the laptop -- though the vandalism charge was dismissed, according to Pasadena Now, with the understanding that he’d pay restitution.

Sinclair got her wish on the restraining order. In the Tuesday ruling, the judge ordered Hefner to stay away from her, says the Contra Costa Times. The pair had dated on and off since August 2010.

At the time of the arrest, 85-year-old Hef seemed a little off-topic in a statement: ‘If they care about each other, they’ll patch it up.’

Perhaps more helpful than that statement was the sentence the younger Hefner received: a 52-week domestic violence program and progress reports with the court over the next three years, according to several news outlets.

Hef has fathered four children over the long course of his romantic life -- two by first wife Mildred Williams -- Christie, 61, and David, 56 -- and two by second wife Kimberley Conrad -- Marston and Cooper, 20.
