Selena Gomez had some exciting baby news to announce Friday: She’s going to be a big sister.

It turns out her mom, Mandy Dawn Cornett, is expecting her first child with husband Brian Teefey and Gomez, 19, couldn’t wait to tell her Twitter followers.

“Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news... My mommys carrying my baby brother or sister :) I’m the happiest girl in the world!”

The soon-to-be big sis accompanied the tweet with a black-and-white photo of the couple, making the news that much sweeter.

However, a new sibling on the way isn’t the only thing Gomez has to be thankful for this holiday season. Justin Bieber’s girlfriend can rest easy through the New Year knowing her temporary restraining order against alleged stalker Thomas Brodnicki will remain in place until Jan. 6, reports E! Online.

The actress originally requested a permanent three-year restraining order against Brodnicki after he told a therapist he’d had thoughts of killing Gomez. But a judge denied the request (at least for now) because he was unable to appear in court on Wednesday, TMZ said. LAPD Det. Jose Viramontes told E! News that Brodnicki remains on psychiatric hold at a county hospital.
