This just in regarding the Ministry’s supernaturally attractive crush James Franco: Though Monday’s Halloween festivities are long over, the actor is still getting in touch with the spirit world.

It’s been announced that the ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ star, always the performance artist, will drop by the upcoming NYC Performing Arts Festival, where he’ll attempt to communicate with the late playwright Tennessee Williams.

Via Oujia board.

For an audition.

It’s an unconventional route to landing a part, but we appreciate James’ otherworldly ambition.

Franco and other actors will participate in a performance installation, in which they’ll utilize the popular game dial to ping Williams, and then each audition for a part in ‘The Glass Menagerie.’

Franco will be hitting up the spirit for the role of the Gentleman Caller. We’ll be anxiously waiting to view this casting on art site Paddle8 after the performance.

For those interested in Franco’s upcoming work in the realm of the living: His backside just got its first magazine cover, and he’s just joined the cast of controversial director Harmony Korine’s ‘Spring Breakers,’ where he’ll play a rapping alien (you heard us) alongside Emma Roberts and Selena Gomez.

Wonder which board game he used to land that gig.
