For the Olsen women, certain milestones must be noted -- for instance, young breakout star Elizabeth Olsen’s first magazine cover.

Naturally sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley came to toast this important rite of passage, which came courtesy of Nylon. Editor Marvin Scott Jarrett welcomed the three for dinner at New York eatery Sons of Essex, where they were joined by ‘Twilight Saga’ actor Xavier Samuel and Cory Kennedy.

Dubbed an ‘it’ girl, Elizabeth, 22, seemed flattered for the recognition but more focused on being a capable woman.

‘I have to attribute the way I have always looked at [work] to my father, because he was a really good influence on us. It was always very important to him that his daughters be financially independent,’ she told the magazine.

‘He wanted us to know that we could take care of ourselves, because he never liked the idea of us needing a man. And witnessing how my sisters can take care of themselves financially was a great model to have.’

Elizabeth may not have the fashion empire her twin siblings share, but she ain’t done bad for herself -- she’s already an indie movie darling for her turn in awards bait ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene.’
