Mel B welcomes baby girl No. 3, her first with Stephen Belafonte

Melanie Brown, a.k.a. Scary Spice, a.k.a Mel B, is now also known as a mother who’s given birth to three girls: She and husband Stephen Belafonte welcomed their first child together in the wee hours Friday morning.
‘Finally our baby arrives, Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!,’ the 36-year-old mom said Friday via Twitter.
After thanking people online for the well wishes and picking up congrats from the likes of Denise Richards, Serena Williams and Kim Kardashian, Brown tweeted to her husband, ‘I didn’t think it was possible but I love you even MORE now honey, we have a truly amazing family.’
Paparazzi had photographed a very uncomfortable-looking Brown on her way into an L.A. hospital in the early-morning hours Thursday.
Phoenix is Mel B’s 12-year-old; her daughter Angel, whose dad is Eddie Murphy, is 4. Belafonte has another daughter as well, 6-year-old Giselle.
No word yet on the new baby’s name or weight, though a rep told People that mother and baby are both ‘happy, healthy and doing well.’
Following in the steps of Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton, Brown is the third former Spice Girl to give birth this year. Posh had a daughter after three boys, while Baby Spice welcomed a second son.
