Ashton Kutcher has taken to Twitter once again to act as his own publicist (twublicist?) in regard to a new wave of allegations that he’s splitting from wife Demi Moore.

Early Thursday morning Kutcher posted a song from music sharing app Spotify by old school hip-hop group Public Enemy called ‘Don’t Believe the Hype.’ Presumably a nod to new rumors of infidelity on Kutcher’s part last weekend in San Diego, over the couple’s sixth wedding anniversary.

Hours after the sonic tweet, Kutcher followed with this gem: ‘When you ASSUME to know that which you know nothing of you make an ASS out of U and ME.’

We’ll take his ax-wound subtly as a nod that we don’t really know what’s happening in his marriage. What we can say: After reports hit that Kutcher was cavorting in SoCal with another lady, Moore had a tweet of her own about men and their faults.

‘When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger,’ she wrote, quoting Greek philosopher Epictetus.

This cagey couple sure confuses us, but we’re game for any story that lets us reference both Flava Flav (originally of Public Enemy) and the Stoic philosophers of Greece. As for Ashton and Demi, time and tweets will tell.
