Ricki Lake is engaged, she revealed Thursday via Twitter -- and she’s marrying Christian Evans, her beau of one year.
‘Thrilled to share some happy news with you ...,’ she wrote, ‘I’m engaged!’
Lake has two sons from her previous marriage to artist Rob Sussman, whom she divorced in 2005. Milo, 14, and 10-year-old Owen both approve of Mom’s new guy, whom she met through her best friend.
‘My little men love him,’ she told People in May. ‘My little one said the other day, ‘Are you gonna marry him? I want you to marry him.’’
Evans, a jewelry designer, proposed to Lake on a recent vacation to Barcelona and Ibiza, a Lake pal told the Ministry.
The actress and TV host will return to the small screen with ‘The Ricki Lake Show,’ a syndicated chatfest next fall. Congrats to the whole clan.
