Weston Cage, wife Nikki Williams arrested on felony domestic violence charges

Weston Cage and Nikki Williams, married all of three months or so, were arrested Monday morning and booked on felony domestic violence charges after a brouhaha at their apartment that resulted in a call to 911.

Williams allegedly cut Cage on the arm with a broken bottle, punched him wildly and threatened to jump off the balcony, according to TMZ, which reported there were visible injuries on both parties.

Sources told the website Tuesday that the place had been trashed and that the woman who called 911 from the apartment delivered ‘blood-curdling screams.’

Weston, the son of Nicolas Cage, was hospitalized in early June after getting in a fight with trainer Kevin Villegas that spilled out of the Farmer’s Kitchen restaurant and into a Hollywood street. Villegas -- reportedly hired by Nicolas to track down Weston -- was saying Weston Cage was mentally ill and needed help, according to a man who called 911 to summon police to that scene.

The couple, who were married April 24 after a one-week engagement, reportedly got out of rehab only days ago.

Cage was out of jail on $50,000 bail shortly after 11 a.m. Monday. Flashing a bloodied bandage on his left arm, he told photographers on his way out of the LAPD’s Hollywood station, ‘Don’t get married.’

Williams’ bail was also set at $50,000.
