Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg call it quits

Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg have decided to end their longtime relationship.

A seemingly permanent fixture in Young Hollywood coupledom, the pair have been inseparable over years of professional and family happenings -- a stark contrast to the many loves of Nicky’s sister Paris.

‘There was no drama,’ a source told E!, ‘they started dating when they were very young. Travel and work schedules left them little time to spend together.’

David is the son of DreamWorks Animation honcho Jeffrey Katzenberg, and serves as a producer for the MTV scripted series ‘The Hard Times of RJ Berger.’

Hilton is a mini-mogul in her own right, with successful handbag and accessory collections abroad. The 27-year-old heiress has also served as spokeswoman for several international brands.
