Lindsay Lohan may have had her own ‘Shawshank Redemption’ moment Wednesday, newly free to wonder if the Pacific was as blue as it had looked from her rooftop deck during 35 days of house arrest that ended when a technician from the electronic monitoring service arrived at in Venice to remove the actress’ ankle bracelet.

After pleading no contest to misdemeanor theft and being found in violation of probation, Lohan did the 35 days of home detention in lieu of a 120-jail sentence. The technician had released the ankle bracelet from its captivity by 10:40 a.m., L.A. Now reports.

Lohan was spotted entering the Downtown Women’s Center early Wednesday afternoon, presumably getting back to work on the balance of 480 hours of court-ordered community service that were part of the sentence handed down May 11 by Judge Stephanie Sautner.

Probation time. Again.
