Royal wedding memorabilia: Owning a slice of Prince William and Kate Middleton's big day [pictures]

Kate Middleton and Prince William's royal wedding extravaganza is fast approaching, and the select group of guests -- which may include the likes of Kanye West, David and Victoria Beckham and Elton John -- will have plenty of memories of their time at Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. But what about the rest of the world?

Royal wedding souvenirs For those who want to remember how much they cared about the last-minute shopping trips and visit to Princess Diana's tomb, who had an opinion about which engagement picture was more engaging, who'd possibly trade a small child for an embossed something-or-other from the reception, there are souvenirs.

But these are royals living in the 21st century, when limiting merchandise to tea cups, plates, magnets and the like simply won't do. But the creativity found in what will do, authorized and unauthorized, is rather astonishing.

In this international spirit of romance-meets commerce, from pizza to Pez dispensers and sick bags to fake sapphire rings, we present a look at a range of royal wedding memorabilia that is or has been up for grabs.

While Kate and William's guests get ready for their Champagne and finger food, click the pics to see a buffet of goods made especially for the rest of us.
