Robert Pattinson reveals a ‘Twilight’ cameo by his Ellen underwear

Robert Pattinson doesn’t know how to use a washing machine, so when he’s running low on underwear, he has Ellen DeGeneres to thank for replenishing his supply.

‘I save your ones [Ellen underwear] for special occasions,’ Pattinson told DeGeneres on Wednesday’s show. ‘I was doing the last ‘Twilight’ movie and I only had one pair left and they were those ones. We were doing this big fight scene and for some reason, I think the shape of my body, my back is too long or something, my ass is constantly hanging out.’

Oh, my. We can’t imagine how those scenes didn’t make the cut.

‘I genuinely think I have a few too many extra vertebrae or something,’ he added about his rear-rearing dilemma.

‘We were doing this big fight and every shot has these Ellen underpants. It came to a point where producers are calling up my agent going, ‘I don’t know what he is up to, but I don’t like it’ ... It’s like they never questioned Fruit of the Loom before.’

So, the all-too-generous DeGeneres gifted Pattinson a basket full of knickers. We bet a few Twi-hards would like to get their paws on those Edward Cullen underthings ASAP.
