January Jones pregnant, looking forward to ‘life as a single mom’

January Jones is pregnant, and the baby is due this fall. And that’s all she’s going to tell anyone for now.

‘She’s really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom,’ the ‘Mad Men’ actress’ rep told People early Thursday evening.

There was no word on who the father is; Jones and actor Jason Sudeikis ended their off-and-on relationship in January.

As her baby body develops, Jones will hit the big screen in June as mutant telepath Emma Frost in ‘X-Men: First Class.’ ‘The costumes are insane ...’ she told Hero Complex in January. ‘If you look at the comic book, she’s barely dressed. She’s got quite the bod, which is very intimidating.’

And here we were, asking ourselves, who in the world would bother to publicize any celebrity news in the hours right before the royal wedding -- because wouldn’t that news be likely to get lost in the crush?

Guess we got our answer. Just sayin’.
