Kanye West, Minka Kelly toast Leighton Meester’s Nylon cover

may be 2011’s most desirable woman, but Leighton Meester has Kanye West up her sleeve.

‘Gossip Girl’ star Meester received a dinner in her honor Tuesday night in New York, where editors from Nylon and denim brand Diesel toasted her recent cover of the magazine.

Meester was joined by Minka Kelly, her costar in ‘The Roommate,’ and West for mingling at the W Hotel Downtown. The three chatted over drinks before a private dinner attended by Jared Leto, Meester’s other ‘Gossip’ girl Jessica Szohr and ‘Twilight’ wolf Chaske Spencer.

The crowd loved her photographs from the mag, though Meester wouldn’t mind constructive criticism from her close pals.

‘I like to be judged by my family and friends because they know me,’ she said in the issue. ‘If they think I’m being an ... I’d like them to tell me.’
