Kate Middleton‘s wedding to Prince William is rapidly approaching — time for lunch with her future in-law.

Middleton and William’s stepmother, Camilla Parker Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall, dined Wednesday at Koffmann’s — a swanky French spot in London’s Berkeley Hotel.

In a simple tan blazer (a little drab for us) and a bold print skirt, Middleton indulged in a chat with Parker Bowles that seemed to include advice for the bride-to-be: Kate reportedly had a notebook out on the table.

She could be jotting down pros and cons on wearing two bridal looks come April 29 and perhaps debating on William’s own wardrobe options, like the scarlet red suiting attached to his title of colonel.
