Usher was kicked in the face by a face Monday night at Madison Square Garden in New York — but really, it was all for love.
The R&B singer brought a fan onstage for a serenade, cuddling with her on a lounge chair during his performance of ‘Trading Places.’ Playing along, when she attempted to swing her leg over him to get more comfortable, she accidentally connected her foot with his face.
Usher handled it well, telling the crowd, ‘We play rough in the bed. We kick each other in the face and all type of good stuff.’
Seriously, though — who hasn’t injured their honey at a moment when they’re trying to be the most suave? Most of us simply haven’t done it in front of tens of thousands of people.
