Taylor Swift

and her hair put on a slick performance Sunday at the American Music Awards, as the country pop star broke with her wavy trademark, sporting bangs and straight locks and winning favorite country female artist over Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood.

Not that we’re saying this was any Adam Lambert-style performance -- but still, relatively speaking, the hair was a bit shocking.

Oh yeah, she sang her new ballad ‘Back to December’ as well.
