It seems kind of fitting that Jon Lovitz would be involved in ‘Casino Jack,’ the biographical film about corrupt lobbyist Jack Abramoff (‘Yeah, that’s the ticket’ jokes anyone?).

Obviously, shady dealing is only one facet of his character, as he was brave enough to show his face at the AFI Fest screening of the film earlier this week in Los Angeles. So were some of the film’s other stars: Kevin Spacey, who plays Abramoff; Rachelle Lefevre, a.k.a. Victoria in the ‘Twilight’ films; and Barry Pepper to name a few.

‘Casino Jack’ centers around Abramoff’s casino corruption scandal that stole millions from tribal casinos and eventually landed him in jail for fraud, conspiracy and tax evasion. The case also took down Adam Kidan (Lovitz) and Michael Scanlon (Pepper), among others. The film was directed by George Hickenlooper, who died in October, and hits theaters Dec. 17.
