Celeb splits: Jennifer Jason Leigh and Noah Baumbach, Emmy Rossum and Adam Duritz

It ain’t the happiest news, but celebrity breakups are still part of the housekeeping here at the Ministry -- news came this week of rifts between Jennifer Jason Leigh and her director husband Noah Baumbach, and the same fate has been met by actress Emmy Rossum and Counting Crows singer Adam Duritz.
Leigh and Baumbach met almost 10 years ago, when the actress was starring in “Proof” on Broadway. They married in September 2005, collaborating frequently on creative projects like “Margot at the Wedding” and their recent Ben Stiller-starrer, “Greenberg.”
The couple have an 8-month-old son, Rohmer. Papers filed by Leigh are requesting sole custody with visitation for Baumbach.
Meanwhile, Rossum told USA Today in a recent interview that she and Duritz, the singer who was at one time boyfriend to Courteney Cox, separated quietly two months ago; she added that the two were “still very close friends.”
