Who’d’a thunk it: Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino managed to exit ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and leave a smile on viewers’ faces after Tuesday’s results show instead of a bad taste in their mouths.

After pitching a bit of a fit at the end of the show Monday night over lousy scores for his and Karina Smirnoff‘s Argentine tango, the ‘Jersey Shore’ star appeared to be heading down a path blazed two weeks ago by Michael Bolton — that being the path of the sore loser. But Sitch recovered for the results show and, after hanging in the bottom two with Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas, took it like

a man as he became the fourth ‘DWTS’ star asked to pack up his inner dancer and head home. If nothing else, we now know he can make his pecs dance a whole lot better than his feet. (The pec popping is in the video above, if you missed it.)

‘I knew it was gonna be hard, but not that hard,’ the Situation said later on Jimmy Kimmel‘s show — about the ballroom dancing, not the pecs.

‘When I really got down to doing it,’ he said, ‘I was like, ‘Oh, man, maybe I shoulda re-you-know-thought the situation.’ ‘

Your thoughts?
