LeBron James

may be young, rich and talented, but he’s not above asking for a little help -- from the public, his friends, his management and, well, Don Johnson.

In a new Nike spot, James ponders what to do amid the image inferno he’s been steeped in since leaving his star-making Cleveland Cavaliers and joining the likes of Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh at the Miami Heat, earning the wrath of an angry public.

‘What should I do?’ he asks (see the clip above). ‘Should I really believe I ruined my legacy? ... Should I just sell shoes? ... Should I accept my role as a villain?’

At one point, James wonders if he should pursue acting -- cut to a ‘Miami Vice’ montage in which James is decked out in pink with a white-blazer-clad Johnson.

‘You just gotta deal with the heat, man,’ Johnson advises. ‘After a while the temperature drops and everything is free and easy.’ We’d bet James is praying Johnson knows what he’s talking about. Tell us your thoughts on the new LeBron ad in the comments section below.
