Snooki lands a book deal, is ‘pumped’ for you to read her novel

Indeed, Nicole Polizzi, the pint-sized firecracker of ‘Jersey Shore,’ announced she’s penning her first novel, slated for release in January by Simon and Schuster’s Gallery Books.

‘I’m pumped to announce to my fans a project that I’ve been working on for some time,” Snooki said in a release.

The novel, reportedly titled ‘A Shore Thing,’ will revolve around ‘girl looking for love on the boardwalk (one full of big hair, dark tans, and fights galore).’

Jonathan Franzen, watch your back. The New York Times’ Cathy Horyn noted in one July interview that Polizzi said she’d only ever read two books: Stephenie Meyer’s ‘Twilight’ and Nicholas Sparks’ ‘Dear John.’
