Bill Maher gets a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame, doesn't thank God
Bill Maher was honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame on Tuesday, with Larry King and Seth MacFarlane doing the introductory honors.
The stand-up comic, author and talk-show host thanked "George Bush, Sarah Palin and the pope" in presenting one of his "26 unused Emmy speeches," referring to his record number of nominations without a win (the atheist has contended that religion has played a part in the shutout).
Maher's name is on star No. 2,417, outside the W Hotel at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street.
Also on scene: demi-celebs "Downtown" Julie Brown and Kato Kaelin.
