Let’s face it -- Michael Phelps has a thing for a lady in a sash. Or so it would seem, given his weekend gallivanting with Miss California Nicole Johnson.

The pair, romantically linked in 2008, spent the weekend partying in Las Vegas, starting with dinner at Lavo on Friday. The two wined and dined in the main room, next to a private dining area containing Jamie Foxx, Paris and Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg.

Saturday afternoon was spent poolside at Tao Beach, where the swimmer and Johnson chatted up locals and made use of the waters, with dinner to follow at Tao Bistro that night. Phelps stopped by the nearby table of Chris Mintz-Plasse, known for playing McLovin in ‘Superbad,’ who was celebrating his 21st birthday.

News of their reunion is a bit surprising -- in 2009, Johnson revealed her secret courtship with Phelps but only after it had ended (amicably, allegedly). Perez Hilton cited sources saying the Olympic gold medalist stepped out on Johnson with another Miss California, the disgraced Carrie Prejean.

Enough drama! We’ve got eyes on some family fun over the weekend, as Hollywood pops celebrated Father’s Day. Like Tori Spelling’s man Dean McDermott, who took his son Liam to ...

... the Muscle Milk Fitness Retreat on Saturday. The father-son team was treated to a private training session before their Sunday splurge of Father’s Day food. Little Liam even insisted on leaving with some Muscle Milk so he could ‘be strong like his dad,’ according to an onlooker. The Boss hit the Big Apple this weekend, splurging on some Father’s Day treats for himself. Bruce Springsteen was spotted at swanky Bergdorf Goodman purchasing jewels from Sydney Evan, like necklaces featuring Buddha, a peace sign and hummingbird pendants.

Mark Wahlberg, who hit the annual A Time For Heroes carnival two weeks ago with his brood, took his son Michael to karate practice in observation of the holiday, where he was spotted rocking a Boston Celtics tee from Sportiqe apparel (wishful thinking, Mr. Wahlberg).

Also seen in New York was Nicole Richie‘s husband, Joel Madden, attending Pampers’ ‘Dads on Diaper Duty’ event at the Metropolitan Pavilion. The singer (who talked with the Ministry about the joys of fatherhood in April) toasted involved dads everywhere alongside Gilles Marini and Bethenny Frankel.

Speaking of ‘Real Housewives,’ Bethenny’s costar Ramona Singer made the social rounds in NYC’s Lower East Side last week, attending the ‘ICONS’ exhibition from photographers Markus Klinko & Indrani. The photog pair are the stars of Bravo’s new original series ‘Double Exposure.’
