As HBO’s hit series “Entourage” enters its seventh season, even some of the show’s cast members, like Kevin Connolly, can’t believe the program is still on the air.

“Yeah, it’s strange,” Connolly, who plays Eric Murphy, told us at the event to kickoff the new season at Paramount on Wednesday.

The new season of “Entourage” is still in production, and Connolly will direct an episode. At the premiere, he acknowledged after spending the day behind the camera that “acting and directing on the same day can be tough.”

“So I’m a little tired. But I got to go home and take a little nap,” he said. “Gotta make sure all these boys get a good night’s sleep.”

Connolly was also openly self-conscious about his outfit.

“[I’m] getting a lot of heat about the double breast,” he said, pointing out his outfit to a fellow cast member on the carpet, who told him the suit was actually a three-piece.

“Somebody told me I was double-breasted,” he smiled. “I was like, ‘I don’t know what that means.’”
